Hi Crafty Friends!
The Double D Challenge Blog is sharing their second challenge in August for the next two weeks. The theme is "Butterflies" on your project. There's an amazing mood board for inspiration and a prize to one lucky winner chosen by random draw.
I kept my card simple with the butterfly as the focal point...
This was a quick CAS, A2 card that turned out understated, but elegant. The peach and green are a favorite combination of mine and were actually our own wedding colors. The stamped sentiment is from a collection of many sentiments that I use frequently. I matted with coordinating cardstock that is also the base for the card. The focal butterfly and a few pearls are the only embellishments.
From my stash...
Basic Grey Pearls
Bazzill Pale Rose Cardstock
49 & Market Laser Cut Butterfly
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Mintay Spring Is Here Collection
Paper Smooches All Year Cheer Stamp
Sizzix Elegant Framelits Labels #2
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope to see you again soon.

Clean and simple.....AND beautiful! I love that color!
It's a beautiful card and I too love the color combo, so soft and pretty!
The butterfly and paper are such a perfect match that they look as though they came from the same collection. Beautiful! I always love plaid and patterned paper and, of course, butterflies!
Pretty card, love the colors!
Vicki, I love how you matched all the colors in this card from the background to the focal image to the butterfly. Nicely done.
Thank you!
