I'm sharing a card with the perfect sentiment for today... "Hello Fall". This is my favorite time of year and I'm enjoying the break from the heat today. We were at the local high school football game on Friday and it was 99 degrees!! Whoa, needless to say we didn't make it through the entire game.
Hello FALL
I dug out a few throwback die cuts for this card. Not sure how long it's been since I used them, but I know it's been years for sure. I die cut the leaves on a white cardstock panel and matted with an inked background. The tree base is a separate die adhered on the white. I made a template of the leaves, covered the entire card matching up the cut outs and then sprayed it with shimmer mist. I guess I should have done that first before I adhered the background but it worked out thankfully. The stamped sentiment is adhered with foam tape to add more dimension. I scattered a few more more die cut leaves around the base of the card from leftover inked cardstock.
