Hey there crafty friends!
September is here and there's a new challenge at A Cut Above Die Cut Challenge Blog. It's always "Anything Goes With A Die Cut" according to the guidelines.
I'm sharing a birthday card I made for my Aunt's 90th birthday celebration.
I couldn't wait to use this candle die on a card. It's part of a set with five different candle designs. I wanted something fresh and happy so I chose pretty floral papers and a pink candle. I touched up the flame with a bit of gold shimmer pen. The sentiment is stamped, die cut and has added dimension using foam dots. I cut an oval and coordinating scalloped oval as matting for the sentiment and candle.
From my stash...
Bazzill In The Pink, Petty Cash Cardstock
Brass & Bliss Candles with Layers Die Set
CTMH Gold Shimmer Pen
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Memory Box Gracious Floral Stamp/Die Set
Mintay Springtime Collection
Spellbinders Small Oval and Scalloped Oval Dies
