Let Go and Live!

 Hi crafty friends!

There's a new challenge at the Double D.  Darlene's team is up and the topic for the next two weeks is
 "Make Your Own Background".

There's a prize to one lucky player chosen by random draw!
Creative Expressions Mini Stencil - Grateful

The inspiration board got my mojo going.  I've always loved mixed media and was excited with this challenge topic.

LET GO and live

The background on this double matted, A2 card is composed of inking and stenciling with paste.  I love the texture the paste adds to the design.  A floral rub-on and a few fussy cut digital flowers with foam tape for dimension make up the focal image.  I adhered a laser cut bow and rub-on sentiment to complete the design.

Thanks for coming by my blog.
Have the best day!

I adore the total look of this piece. It is so fresh and airy and amazing. Adding the die cut flowers was perfect and I am impressed with this card.

This is such a stunning card, Vicky! I absolutely love that image, and the way it pairs with that background is really wonderful. You did a great job making your own background. I should go check that out because I love that stencil that I’m seeing that’s up for grabs! 😃Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We really appreciate your participation!
