Good morning blogger friends!
Sharing yet another couple of cards that I made for WCMD challenges on a crafty site. There are a total of 20 challenges with prizes being offered. I'm more in it for the challenge of completing all of them vs. winning any prize. I have 5 more to finish by the deadline on the 11th. I'm pretty sure I get er' done!
Both of these cards happen to be Christmas cards, but created with different techniques.
This card required both stenciling and stamping on it. The poinsettia is a new stencil designed by Katie Pertiet for Arden Creative Studios. I used distress inks with the stencil. The speckle stamp is from a different set than the sentiment, but both are Katie Pertiet designs for Arden Creative Studios also.
From my stash...
Tsukineko Galaxy Gold and Tuxedo Black Ink
This second card required a 3-D element. I made my own by cutting the star 3 times in gold and layering using foam tape. The detailed layers add more dimension. The background is embossed with a snow EF and the sentiment is a die cut.
From my stash...
Cuttlebug Falling Snow Embossing Folder
Impression Obsession Peace Sentiment
Paper Studio Matte Gold Cardstock

Thanks for stopping by today.
Stay tuned for the remainder of my challenge projects.

A stunning couple of cards - that poinsettia is so vibrant. The star card for our challenge is just perfect - great dimension with the die cuts, and fabulous colour scheme. Thank you for joining us at ABC Christmas Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
