Hey crafty friends!
Today's share features a fun birthday card for a relative that will be celebrating her "Sweet 16" soon. I love the colors and images in this birthday collection from Memory Place. I also used a newer die cut set of candles from Brass & Bliss. It is now a favorite and will get a lot of use.
This is an A6, 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 size and worked well with the 6 x 6 paper pad I have of this collection. I matted the papers with a coordinating teal and used it for the sentiment shadow also. And, of course, pink was needed for this girlie birthday card. The candles set is fantastic with five different designs or you can make the candle plain. There are three different wax drippings to choose from and the flame comes in two sizes for layering also.
I put together a second birthday card using the same collection and added required hexagons for a WCMD challenge that I am participating in at ACOT.
This is an A2 size and used just one of the candle dies.
