Enjoy the little things!

 Welcome back friends!

The Double D is sharing their second challenge for the month of November.
The theme is "Fall Colors" and Darlene's Team (me!) is up first to share their awesome projects to inspire you followed by Diane's Team.

There is also a mood board to give you a push.
And if that's not enough, check out the prize being offered.
Creative Expressions Maple Leaves Stencil

This is my favorite time of year from the crisp air and colors to the approaching holiday season. I created three cards using the same embossing folder.  The first card has the soft, warm colors of early Fall followed by the colors of late Fall just before the bitter cold arrives.  And lastly, I embossed some burlap paper.

I used a newer 3-D embossing folder on cardstock with blended fall colors of distress ink.  The edges and veined areas of the leaf are made more prominent by rubbing gold ink gently across them.  I sprayed with both a sparkle and silver mist.  The focal panel is double matted using a dark orange and gold metallic cardstock.  The sentiment is cut from the same gold matte finish cardstock.

And, here's the next card using the same embossing folder...

This card has darker, intense colors inked over with a warm brown giving the feeling of older, dried leaves that we see in late Fall.  It's sprayed only with the sparkle mist and has a glitter metallic base and sentiment.

And last, a card I made back in August when I first got the EF.

Sparkle

The burlap paper embossed really well.  I matted with gold glitter cardstock, added some gold splatters and a few gems.  The stamp sentiment is matted on a die cut leaf.
