Retro Birthday!

 Hi there crafty friends!

Wow, it's November already and the holiday season will soon be upon us.  The new monthly challenge is up at A Cut Above, Die Cut Challenge Blog.  It's a challenge blog that requires the use of at least one die cut on your project according to the guidelines.

Today, I'm sharing a retro birthday card that I made for a sweet tween family member.

HAPPY birthday

Fun, fun, fun!  This retro patterned paper was fun to create with.  The vintage Volkswagon buses and peace signs are trending in the craft world.  The sweatshirt, another fun detail, was a recent purchase.  I saw it on a friend's project and had to add it to my stash.  The shadowed sentiment is fairly new also.  I love the sentiment die cuts that come with a "shadow" background.

I also used this collection for a recent layout that called for a retro feel!
