Birthday Sprinkles!

 Welcome crafty friends!

Today marks the 10 year birthday/anniversary of the Double D Challenge Blog!  Yes, that's right...10 years! How exciting for Diane and Darlene the founders of this fun challenge blog. To honor this special occasion, the first challenge of January is, "Birthday Celebration".  Be inspired by the fun mood board below and link your project to the Double D Challenge "Birthday Celebration" Blog post and you could be the winner of the fabulous prize being offered to one lucky entry chosen by random draw.

Pink Fresh Alpha Stickers
Crafters Companion Wings To Fly Stamp Set
Spellbinders This Plus This Embossing Folder
Spellbinders Be Bold Color Block Thank You

I love everything about this board!

"10"

I had some fun papers and new die cuts that were perfect for the mood board and challenge theme.  I'm all about sprinkles when it comes to ice cream and yes, they must be in colors.  The bottomless container of colored sprinkles in my stash found a home on these chipboard numbers and ice cream cones.  I used Glossy Accents on them to be sure they didn't fall off!  Losing one's sprinkles can lead to a serious meltdown!  The cones are cut from Kraft to resemble sugar cones and I misted some white cardstock before cutting the ice cream toppers.  The birthday sash is from a coordinating chipboard set.

From my stash...
Brass & Bliss Candles With Layers Die
Doodlebug Sugar Coated
Generic Ice Cream Cone Die
My Colors Kraft Cardstock
 Spellbinders Small Circle Die
Spellbinders Small Scalloped Circle Die

Sharing with these challenges:

Hop on over and help celebrate the Double D's 10 year birthday!
You could be the prize winnner.

Thanks for coming by.
Have the best day!

Oh what a fun card this is, Vicki! The gumball number is so fun, as are those ice cream cones. Sweet in every sense of the word.

Oh how FUN is this beauty! You've got it all, double scoops and your delicious sprinkles--I'm a Jimmies girl myself, chocolate lol But we can still be friends! Love how you adorned the number 10--clever! This is deliciously delightful!

I love your birthday card for those who may not like birthday cake, but love birthday ice cream. I don't think you could have put another sprinkle anywhere but I love how it looks. And that number 10 Covered in sprinkles is just the best.

Those ice cream cones look so real, and the yummy sprinkles... mmmm! What a fun card, Vicki. Ice cream at your house sounds pretty fun, too. I'm glad to be celebrating the DD's 10th with you!

So stinkin' clever to put the sprinkles on the numbers, it really steps this card up a notch. Really cut layout, and I love all the die cuts. This is a really festive card for a festive event, can't believe it's been 10 years!!
