Welcome back crafty friends!
It's time for the second challenge in February at the Double D. Darlene's team is hosting and Diane's team is sharing their projects too. The theme is "Signs of Love", a great follow up for Valentine's Day. There's a fabulous prize up for grabs and as always, a mood board to encourage your mojo!
Here's my inspiration...
I've had this stamp and stencil in my stash for a while and had forgotten about it until I was organizing and purging my craft space last week. I inked up some pretty plaid paper with the trellis design and stamped the sentiment inside the arch. Not sure I like the placement and did try it on vellum first to get an idea how it would look. I will have to get in some practice using it more often. The added hearts are the punch outs from the border across the top.
I die cut the couple and bench from black as silhouette figures and popped them up with some foam dots for a 3-D effect. An additional strip of pink adhered across the bottom balances out the scene.
From my stash...
Bazzill Berry Sensation, Blackberry Swirl
Colorbox Pink Ink
EK Success Cutter Bee Border Punch
49 & Mkt. Art Options Rouge Devoted
Impression Obsession Bench and Couple Dies
Pink Fresh Studio Around the Shape Stamps
Pink Fresh Studio Blooming Arches Stencil
TH Inks-Brushed Corduroy, Bundled Sage, Gathered Twigs, Peeled Paint

This is such a sweet card with the silhouette of the couple under the archway. I think it turned out lovely!
Beautiful & heartfelt creation! Love your stenciling ... gorgeous backdrop for this loving couple. I too have those dies and had forgotten about them until seeing your awesome scene here! Thanks for the reminder and thanks for beautiful inspiration!!!
So much fun when you find something interesting as you purge through the many crafty supplies that you've got. For me I often find that I have purchased duplicates without my knowledge I think you did a great job on challenge with this card.. The signs of love are definitely there Vicki.
What a beautiful card, Vicki! The arbor is so pretty, especially with the coordinating sentiment. I love the faded plaid paper, and the couple look just right sitting there. I need to stop crafting long enough to purge and reorganize. The trouble is, after multiple purges there's so little I'm willing to part with.
Oh for sure a sign of love is this couple, it's an awesome design and very inspiring!!
This is such a beautiful loving card! It gives me all of the feels! Love your design, that trellis with the twigs is so perfect! And you and the hubby! xoxo
Such a lovely card! The silhouette looks wonderful with your pretty background!

Vicki, what a wonderful take on the challenge for TicTacToe! Your sweet card is adorable and has so many pretty elements. How I love the couple silhouetted under the delightful archway. The die cut hearts across the top are so fun!
A lovely card. Vicki! So nice for an anniversary. All your choices came together nicely. So glad you joined us at TTTC this round. Cheers, Jolanda - DT
Hello, Vicki!! Thanks for creating and sharing with Heart's Quest #82!! Loving the little pink hearts and the heart-punch out border leaving 'white' heart shapes!!! Way to use your supplies and tools in a brilliant way!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
What a fabulous stamp and stencil set, and you have used it perfectly. I don't stamp on patterned paper enough, you can get some really striking results. Lots of wonderful work here, love it. Sorry I'm so late to the party, I thought I had already commented on our blog. Gorgeous work, my friend.
This is amazing!! I LOVE how you stenciled on the plaid. I have stenciled on pattern paper and think I need to try now. Thank you for playing with us this round at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.
