Hello there, crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing a tropical inspired card for a new challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog. The theme is "Tropical" with a fun and colorful mood board to inspire your project. Check it out and play along!
When I think tropical, its always hibiscus flowers that come to mind and they have to be a coral/pink color. I chose the coral in different shades and inked them up a bit. It was time to pull out the pineapple embossing folder and die set that I rarely use also. Pineapples are tropical too, right? The gold framed window aperture has an embossed pineapple background with a die cut pineapple behind the sentiment among the foliage. I used a darker blue card base so the bright colors would be the focal point.

I do think of hibiscus when I think of tropical we have them in Florida. Unfortunately, although pineapple are tropical, we don’t have them in Florida. Sure wish we did. Love your card.
A gorgeous tropical card, beautiful colors too!!
Oh, yes, pineapples are deliciously tropical and I love that you used them on your card! Of course, the hibiscus blooms are gorgeous and it's all beautiful set onto the arch design -- one of my favorite design elements in card making!
This is a tropical beauty--love the scene and view from your pretty window! Hibiscus and Pineapples go hand in hand....and then a Mai Tai for the 3rd hand lol This is FAB!!!
