Hey crafty friends!
Today's share is a whimsical card that I created for a challenge with a magical theme.
I dug into my stash of die cuts and pulled out some throwbacks from years ago. The fairy came to mind immediately for the magic theme. I used a 6 x 6 panel that had a perfect pattern as the background and matted it with plum cardstock. Next, I stenciled the white space around where the focal point would be. Of course, that would be the dancing fairy cut from a plum metallic cardstock and adhered to an oval of vellum.
On the back of the vellum, I adhered an offset, black fairy as a silhouette. The oval vellum is framed with a branch die cut that included four birds that I used to embellish the sentiment and top of the card. To create motion, I cut a swirl die and used it above and below the image. I am really thrilled with the silhouette effect using the vellum and black image.
