When we turned the page on 2009, I had such happy aspirations for the year. Our youngest DD will be getting married in December, our niece is getting married in October, we have graduations, milestone birthdays, and our delightful grandson to fill our days.
But, the dark clouds have rolled in once again to put a twist on everything. My younger dear, dear, brother, is again facing the return of that detestable disease, cancer. He will be up against the battle of his life and my love and prayers are unending for him. It breaks my heart...his pain, his wife and children's pain, my siblings pain, but most of all, my mother's pain.
We have other family health issues, both on my side and my DH's. Our circle of love and support is strong and we will face the days together.
One of our happier occasions this year, was the graduation of my niece from college. She is a "breath of fresh air" and also my God Daughter. She is the DD of my dear, dear, brother, who is having health issues. I was fortunate enough to attend her graduation and took some time to scrap a photo of her and mom, Cindy. I love this Bo Bunny paper collection. It was perfect for this happy moment!
