Moo Journaling!

 I've been working on a Project 12 art journal for 2013.  The topic of my journal is one word, "Reason". Each month I create a mixed media page for my journal that includes a quote containing or about the word "reason".  

For June, I used my Rogue Redhead Design stamps along with our current Rebel Challenge #24...Slender Benders, Scraplings and Moos for my journal page.

I love playing with all of the different mediums when I am working on a page.  It's a messy project, but the end results are my claim to fame!

"Reason"

I started with watercolor paper and lots of mists.  When the mists were dry I stamped images from the Rogue Redhead Designs This N' That , Beach Babes, and Just Sayin' Stamp Plates  randomly around the page with black and white ink. 

 

 Next I added some glass bead texture gel using one of my favorite templates.  More wait time for the glass bead gel to dry before moving on.

 
The journaling, a quote about reason, was next.  I typed the quote on white cardstock and cut it into strips to adhere to the page.

  In the lower left corner of the page, I added a music staff that I die-cut from black cardstock.

 I created my Moo with some scrap patterned paper and one of the images from  the Rogue Redhead Designs Beach Babes Stamp Plate. I stamped the same image on black cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder.  Next I colored the embossing image with Copics, cut it out, and used it to shadow the image on my Moo.
