Christmas Inspiration!

October has been a month of inspiration beginning with World Card Making Day on Saturday, October 4th.  CropStop is still taking entries for our WCMD Blog Hop.  Click on the 3-Hand link in the upper right side bar of the CropStop Blog to go directly to the post where you can play along for the chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to the CropStop Store.  Hurry, the deadline for entries is October 31st Eastern Time.

Now, on to my Friday inspiration!

I'm having a blast creating Christmas cards this month.  It's exciting to be a little ahead of the game in that department.  Usually, I am cramming to get them finished on time for mailing.

Today's card features Spellbinder's 3D M-Bossibilities Folder - Rustic Wreath.   The M-Bossibilities folders leave a precise, detailed impression and are compatible with most die-cut machines.

I used Core'dinations red and green cardstock along with Gold Foil Specialty paper as the card base.

I inked the top inside of the folder with Tsukineko Galaxy Gold prior to embossing.  When I added the white cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot, it picked up the gold ink on the raised, embossed areas.  I touched up the wreath with some added gold ink and used Viva Decor Carmine Glass Effects Gel for the holly. The Prima poinsettias and Queen & Co. pearls are from my stash.

The sentiment was printed in my word program, cut into a tag shape and inked on the edges with Tsukineko Green Bamboo.  I used my fabby Craft-Dee BowZ tool to tie the burlap twine bow.
