Here's my July challenge inspiration...

 "On Your Special Day"

I did it....I finally made my very first 8 x 8 card!  This was so fun to create.  It was like doing a layout.  The card base is made from American Crafts 16 x 20 Designer Poster Board.  It comes in a bunch of different colors and patterns, but the kraft with gold dots was my favorite.  I cut a piece to 8" x 16" and folded in it half.  And, there's still plenty remaining to make more cards.   The card front is a blush pink with gold dots and matted with white and blush cardstock.   I actually found ribbon that was a great match to the patterned papers.  The die cut sentiment is cut from a turquoise foil paper.  It pops right off of the blush and white!  I cut a white doily for under the Eiffel Tower and added vintage blush roses, gold pearls, and another die cut under the bow.   I'll be creating more of these 8 x 8 cards in the future!
