Our October mood board inspiration with great fall colors...
I chose the muted plaid colors in the lower right photo as inspiration for my card...
These Close To My Heart plaid papers were almost a perfect match to the photo I used for inspiration. They are great colors for this time of year and I love the softer tones. The white flourish die cut top layer looks great against the muted tones of the plaid paper. I added three die cut circles, two plain and one scalloped over a lacey die cut circle for more dimension.
In this angled view, you can see the dimension on the card created with die cuts. I decided to leave the wood chip word in it's natural state and surround it with mulberry paper leaves. The turquoise twine bow was a great pop of color to pull in the blue tones of the leaves.
From my stash...
Cheery Lynn Scandinavian Circle Die Cut
Close To My Heart Patterned Paper, Twine
Prima Forest Leaves Die Cut
Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circle, Small Die Cut
Spellbinders Classic Circle, Small Die Cut
Other: Mulberry leaves, Wood chip sentiment
