Dies R Us November Challenge..."Thankful for Nature"

Time is flying by so quickly.  I can't believe it's November and time for another Dies R Us Challenge!

The topic for our first bi-monthly challenge is, "Thankful for Nature". We want to see you create something nature based or giving thanks.  Show us your creative ability while using die cuts.  The challenge lasts until midnight, November 14th, so don't waste time...get your mojo going.

Link up your project to the Dies R Us "Thankful for Nature" Challenge post by midnight, November 14th for the chance to win a $10 Gift Voucher to spend in the Dies R Us Store.

Visit the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for rules and quidelines.  You can find them in the left side bar.  While you're there, grab our Dies R Us Challenge badge to share on your blog.

As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving Day here in the U.S., I like to reflect on the past year and all that I am thankful for. There are so many things, and I can't begin to list them all. Although trying at times, it has been filled with my family's love and support.

And, I can't forget my crafting friends...those that live in my computer, that I have met in real life, and work along side me on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog Design Team! I am so thankful to have them in my life.

My "Thankful & Grateful" card inspiration is a tribute to all that I give thanks for this past year...

"Thankful & Grateful"

The base of white cardstock is 6" x 6" in size.  It's topped with a woodgrain patterned paper.  The pumpkin die is from white cardstock also and shaded with Wink Estella white glitter in the leaf and flower areas.  I added the quote tag in the upper right, tucked in some leaves and burlap for texture and enamel dots to the corners.  I hung a die cut wreath over the top right and added enamel dots to the lower right and upper left corners of the base.

Vicki, this card is so gorgeous. Love the dark background with the white dies. The wreath looks so great tucked under the picture and the corner pumpkin die is perfect accent to the pumpkin image. The burlap and leaves add a nice touch.
