Green is my favorite color and I couldn't let this holiday go by without creating a little something to celebrate my Irish roots. I knew I had a few pieces of G45's Childrens' Hour collection in my stash that included March Montage. It worked great for my St. Patrick's Day card...
"LUCKY YOU"
The card base, tea pot and a couple of the shamrocks are ivory cardstock. I matted the patterned paper with the green and golden yellow found in the print. The purple and orange ribbon helped to pull out colors found in the flowers. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a teapot die. The shamrocks are cut from green and ivory cardstock. The background foliage found on the ribbon and under the flower cluster are cut from cork. I fussy cut flowers from a scrap piece and added dimension to them and the teapot collage using foam tape. I love the pansies in the print and do have a pansy die cut, but alas, it's in my "other" scrap space! So, I had to make do with the options available.
