Dies R Us November "Thankful" Challenge

November?  When did that happen?  It's time again for our first 2 week challenge on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  This month's theme, "Thankful" goes well with the season and upcoming holidays.

We want to see  what inspires you to be "Thankful" this time of year.  Create your project and link it up to our Dies R Us Thankful Challenge post by November 14, 2014.

Don't forget, most importantly, we want to see your die-cuts too!
Visit the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for challenge rules and to link your project.  You can find the rules listed in the left side bar.  Grab our Dies R Us Challenge badge to share on your blog.

The challenge winner, chosen by Inlinkz, will receive a $10 Dies R Us Gift Voucher to spend in the Dies R Us store.

I love the fall and all of the glorious colors that Mother Nature shares with us and took my inspiration from her.  Lots of warm colors, texture and, of course, fabulous die-cut shapes helped create my card.

"Be Thankful"

This versatile Twiggy Tree die-cut from Memory Box is adaptable to any season. The Spellbinders Foliage die-cuts go well with the design in the patterned paper.  I used SEI velvet and AC glitter paper for the leaves.

The sticker sentiment fit perfectly on the smallest die from the Creative Expressions Granada set.  I used the largest die in the set for the background patterned paper.

This artist palette from Paper Smooches is one of my favorite dies!  I used jewels along with glitter and velvet specialty papers to represent the colors on the card.  The palette is matted with a banner cut from cork using the Taylored Expressions Banner die.  I tucked in a flourish that is also cut from velvet specialty paper with the Spellbinders Foliage Flourish die.
