Welcome back blogger friends!
We're into October and Autumn! Hurray, this is my favorite season of the year. I love the cooler air, the smell and changing colors of fall. It's time once again for sweatshirts and jeans.
And time for a new challenge on the Double D Challenge Blog. Our challenge theme is...
"Scare-in' Up Some Pumpkins"!
Team Diane is hosting with more inspiration from Team Darlene. We're looking forward to having you play along with us. Visit the Double D Challenge Blog for guidelines, details and to link up your creative entry. Share your scarecrow and/or pumpkin inspired project with us. You could be one of our creative winners or win this fabulous prize...
You can see the added dimension behind the circle and truck. The sentiment, "it's pumpkin time" is a journaling tag from the pumpkin patterned paper collection.

Cottage Cutz Stitched Pumpkins
As always, we have fabulous mood board inspiration!
Here's my "Scare-in' Up Some Pumpkins inspiration....
"It's pumpkin season"
I was especially inspired by the colors on this mood board. The wood grain paper reminded me of old barn wood and worked well as the background for the card design. The truck image is a favorite Penny Black stamp that I fussy cut and added dimension to using foam tape. I die cut a circle from pumpkin patterned paper and matted it with another scallop edged circle. I cut a few vines and flourishes and tucked them in around the circle and truck. The blues, oranges and greens are the primary colors with a touch of yellow flowers.
You can see the added dimension behind the circle and truck. The sentiment, "it's pumpkin time" is a journaling tag from the pumpkin patterned paper collection.

Fabulous image, fabulous card!! Love how you have colored the truck and made it look so rustic, my Dad had an old truck like that when we were kids, so your card brought back great childhood memories! Such pretty added details with the greenery, too...wonderfully created fall card!
