Hey there, Blogger friends...
Welcome back and thanks for stopping by.
Today I'm happy to be sharing a layout as guest designer for the Sketches in Thyme Challenge Blog. They offer weekly sketch challenges all month long to jump start your creativity. There's a prize being offered too!!
Stop by and play along with the monthly sketch challenges! You could be a winner.
Here's July's first week sketch inspiration...
And here's my Maven creation...
"BOYS WILL BE BOYS"
I used misted white Bazzill as the base for this action layout. The photo is of our nephew riding in a motorcross race. I pulled out the colors by creating arrow strips tucked behind the picture along with scraps of patterned papers stitched along the edges. The die cut gears and tread stamp help create the action scene. I fussy cut some words to use as journaling and added a date tag.
From my stash...
Bazzill, Core'dinations Cardstock
Dyan Reavely Dylusions Melted Chocolate Mist Ink
Heidi Swapp Patterned Paper and Stencil
Kaisercraft Mister Fox and Scrap Yard Paper Collections
Memory Box Gear Assembly Die Cut
Spellbinders/Donna Salazar Sprightly Sprocket Die Cut
Unity Stamp Set - A Little Bit Washi

Other: Patterned Paper
I hope I've inspired you to play along with this sketch challenge over on the Sketches in Thyme Challenge Blog. You have until July 31st to link up your project.
Thanks again for stopping by.
Hope to see you again soon!
