Hi there Blogger friends!
July is flying by and it's time for another challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog. We've just celebrated our country's birthday on the 4th of July, but we're still partying here at the Double D. Our challenge topic today is "Birthday" and we want to see your fun Birthday projects.
We're choosing an overall Creative Winner, 3 Top Creative Winners and giving away a cool prize to one lucky random winner. Stop by the Double D Challenge Blog and play along.
The random prize being offered is...
Yvonne Creations Balloons
Here's our fun mood board to help inspire you...
I love stripes and had to incorporate them in my designs. The gold, pink and brights also appealed to me, so I created cards using all of the colors and stripes. And, since we have a lot of July birthdays in our family, I made several inspired by the mood board.
First up is this mini 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" card that can be used alone or as a gift card.
I used the stripes, gold and pink for this mini. The sentiment is heat pressed pink iridescent foil. I added flowers and pink gems for sparkle.
"Birthday Wishes"
Next up is a card in my favorite format, 6" x 6". I created lots of dimension on the black card base using bright colors and striped paper layers. The gold foil cupcake stand is the focal point with the "Birthday Wishes" sentiment cut in pink and green.
A couple more cards to meet our July birthday quota!
From my stash...

Vicki the die in question I think is a tonic studio one. I have had it for years and as I have put my dies in order, like birthday etc, in a folder I haven't the name of them... It's a set so am sure it's Tonic...xx
