Spring Is For Cherry Blossoms!

Good morning crafty friends!
Today, I'm sharing my inspiration for the Sisterhood of Crafters newest challenge, "SPRING" chosen by Sistah Darlene.   Challenge winners chosen by the Sistahs are, "Top Sister" and "Top 3 Sisters".   They will receive "Sister" badges to share in their blogs.

Yes, Spring is everywhere!  I love this time of year when my daffodils and tulips are blooming and everything looks new and happy.   I especially love to see the pink cherry blossoms in bloom and that's what inspired my "Spring" card!  The 3700 cherry blossom trees that surround the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. are normally a huge tourist attraction.  This year, it is being downplayed because of the world pandemic.

"My Grace"

I've had these Jolee's Cherry Blossoms in my stash forever and they were perfect for this card.  I coordinated the cardstock colors with the blossoms and  even added a touch of gold to highlight the flower centers.  The sentiment stamp is one of my favorite and sadly, no longer available.  It feels good to be using bits and pieces hiding in my craft stash.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Queen & Com. Pearls
Jolee's Cherry Blossom Branch
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink
Recollections Specialty Cardstock
Verve Sentiment Stamp

What a gorgeous Oriental card... tree blossom is maybe the most beautiful aspect of spring - and that's saying something in a season so full of beauty!
