April "Showers & Flowers"!

Good morning, crafty friends!

This month is flying by.  We're half way through April and it's time for our second challenge of the month at the Double D.  April showers bring May flowers and that's just what we want to see!  Our theme for this challenge is "Showers & Flowers".

We have an awesome mood board to inspire you, creative badges to share and a prize to one lucky person chosen by random draw.  So get crafting and show us what you can do!  Check out the Double D Challenge Blog for guidelines and to link up your entry.

Here's my "Showers and Flowers" inspiration...

"it's the little things in life"

I was inspired by the children's rain boots and flowers in the first photo, and, I had the perfect papers in my stash.  This happens so often, that I am beginning to believe I really do hoard paper!  The pocket tag sentiment really rings true this past month for all of us.  Life's lesson in disguise.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Carta Bella Spring Market Collection
May Arts Ribbon
Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Shapeabilites
Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Roses

Thanks for stopping by...come back soon!

Not that I would ever call another crafter a hoarder....but...let's just say I think you have a very extensive paper collection LOL This is fantastic, love the design and layout and those gorgeous papers! And that sentiment, if this time has not proven that accurate!!! Be well!

When I come to Pa to visit my sister, I am going to drive to Peach Bottom and look at your paper stash. I swear you have a paper for everything. This one is especially pretty. Always love your layers and you are right this sentiment puts things in perspective.

When you have the perfect design paper, you just have to use it. Some people have commented on your paper stash. Could that be true? You create the best cards with your papers and design. Loving that sentiment too.
