Steampunk Father's Day

Today I'm sharing my last project as a member of the Cut It Up Design Team.  I am stepping down after 7 months.  Many thanks to our DT coordinator Evelyn and all the other team members.  It has been a pleasure working with them and our sponsors.

Now, on to our new challenge, "Boys Will Be Boys"!
With Father's Day just around the corner, this is a great opportunity to get a few cards made.  Or, if you have a special male graduate that needs a card, now's the time to get it done.

Our challenge sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Lou...

Thank you to our sponsor!

Create and link up your project to the Cut It Up Blog post, "Boys Will Be Boys", by noon June 10th,  EST to be eligible for a prize chosen by random draw.  The Design Team will choose their favorites for the "Top Cut" from the linked qualifying entries.  Top Cut winners will receive a badge to display in their blogs.  AND, DON'T FORGET TO USE A DIE CUT!

Visit the Cut It Up Blog for guidelines and challenge information.

Here's my inspiration using one of the papers from the Steampunk Digital Paper Pack.

"Happy Father's Day"

I created this CAS Father's Day card by changing the color gradient on the digital papers to a teal color and matted it with coordinating cardstock.  The die cut gears are also in complimentary colors for this basically monochrome design.  The sentiment is stamped, cut and matted with tag dies.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Craftwork Cards Candi Dots
Paper Smooches, All Year Cheer Stamp Set
Spellbinders Donna Salazar Sprightly Sprockets
Spellbinders Fancy Tags Shapeabilities
Spellbinders Grommet Tags Shapeabilities

Thanks for stopping by!
Hope to see you here again soon.

Hi Vicki! I really like this balanced, well-designed layout! You did such a wonderful job mixing up the color palette on the digi paper to create something special and I love the details you added with the sentiment label! Nice work!
