Slimline Christmas...

 Good morning crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing a couple of slimline Christmas cards.  I am loving the popularity of this new card size and the availability of coordinating die cuts.  My stash is gradually increasing and I now have 5 slimline card dies.  The Kat Scrappiness "Wrapped Up With A Bow" slimline die was one of my first purchases because it is perfect for Christmas and a wide array of other cards.

Here are a couple of slimline Christmas cards waiting to be mailed...

Merry Christmas (red)

First up is a slimline in traditional Christmas colors.  I matted gold embossed vellum with both white cardstock and red glitter cardstock.  The bow is cut from the same red glitter paper.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with gold EP.

Merry Christmas (blue)

Next, is a slimline card in non traditional Christmas colors.  I just had to make a blue velvet bow and these papers coordinated perfectly.  This card has extra layers and dimension. The sentiment is stamped and embossed with silver EP.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Elizabeth Craft Designs Banner Die
Gina K Designs Gold, Silver EP
Kat Scrappiness Wrapped Up With A Bow Slimline Die
Paper Smooches Sentiment
Recollections Embossed Vellum and Red Glitter Specialty Paper
SEI Blue Velvet Specialty Paper

Thanks for stopping by today.  Stay tuned for more Christmas inspiration.
Hope to see you back again soon.

These are so pretty. I love them both, the patterned papers really make the cards. Adding the "velvety" bows is the perfect final touch. Really nice.

Would you believe I haven't made any slimline cards yet? *ooops* Hopefully I'll get to those next year.
I love how yours turned out though. They look really elegant. xx
