Hope perches...

Welcome back crafty friends to another Double D Challenge!

November is flying by and it's time for our second challenge of the month.  Our theme is, "Trees".  The trees are going through their seasonal leaf cycle changing from shades of green to bright reds, oranges and yellows although the hardy pines remain green.

The mood board for inspiration...

We'll be choosing creative winners along with a random draw winner of the prize below.

Impression Obsession Pine Tree Die Set

If there's a mood board with warm colors, I'm on it...
I love the warm reds and oranges of fall and created two cards.

hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul.

The base for this A2 card is one of my new favorite Bazzill colors, Lava.  It's a bright red/orange color and perfect for fall and holiday cards.  The trees are stamped in black and colored with distress inks. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold EP.  This stamp is from a favorite stamp company, that sadly is no longer in existence.  I used dies cuts for matting and to add dimension.

This second A2 card design mimics the first except for colors.

From my stash...
Bazzill - Coconut, Lava, Navel Orange
Paper Studios Matte Gold Paper
Ranger Princess Gold EP
TH Distress Inks - Abandoned Coral, Bundled Sage, Spiced Marmalade
Verve "Hope Perches" Sentiment Stamp

Challenges entered:

I love fall most of all...
Thanks for stopping by.

That is really a beautiful tree stamp and I love your way of adding color to it! I'm a Bazzill fan, too. There are so many stamp companies no longer in business, sigh. Vicki, I'm so glad you included your lovely cards in our Four Seasons Challenge!
