In the Woods...

 Hi crafty friends!

It's time for another challenge at the Double D.  Our theme for the next two weeks is, "A Walk in the Woods".  Share a project that is inspired by what you might see while taking a walk in the woods.  The mood board below will help get your mojo going for sure...

Hard to believe it's November already and the big holidays are lurking ahead.  Speaking of lurking, you never know what's hiding in the woods.  We have a local wood carving entrepreneur that no one is able to identify that leaves these carved gnomes throughout the area.  They've been found most often in wooded areas where there are walking and bike paths.  How fun is this?  Spreading good cheer while enjoying mother nature.

This gnome, along with our mood board, inspired my card for this challenge.

THANKFUL

I had some cute 3-D stickers waiting for a home and this challenge was a great opportunity to create a whimsical scene of hiding gnomes.  Their fall colors really pop against the black and white background.  I matted the patterned paper with complimentary colors and added a few sequins.

Join us at the Double D Challenge Blog and play along with our "Walk In The Woods" Challenge.
You could be a Top Creative Winner or win this fun prize by random draw.

What a fun card, with those colorful and cute gnomes, how fun that the artist leaves them throughout the woods for every one to enjoy! Very clever idea, though I have to admit I haven't seen any gnomes in our woods here, yet, but you never know that could easily change!!
