Good morning crafty friends...
We're ready for the March challenge at 613 Avenue Create. This month we're sharing a beautiful color board to inspire you along with our "Anything Goes" Challenge. The twist is succulent inspiration. Succulent plants are very trendy now and I have a few of my own. I love the variety of shapes, sizes and easy care required.
Here's my color board inspiration with a twist...
"Happy Retirement"
I'm a huge fan of square cards, usually 5" x 5" or 6" x 6". They make me feel like I'm working on a small canvas and sometimes take me longer than they should. This card was a great opportunity for me to make a retirement card for a very special person. I know that she will love it when it arrives.
The 6" X 6" base is layered with white matted, patterned paper. I die cut a doily as the background for the fussy cut succulents. The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a banner die. It's adhered to a ribbon banner to give it dimension.
