Welcome Baby!

 Welcome crafty friends!

March is here and Spring is on the way.  I can hardly wait for the change of seasons.   We have a fun, new challenge at the Double D to get the month started.  Our challenge topic is "Pockets"Check out the mood board below and grab some inspiration for your project.  Link it up to the Double D Challenge Blog's "Pocket" post by March 13th for an opportunity to be a Creative Winner or maybe even the prize winner!

Cheapo Dies Flower Pocket

I was inspired by the basket weave and neutral colors, but went a whole different direction with my pocket choice!

baby...welcome to the world

I'm still into my "stash bust" so there are no new products used for this card.  The base is 6 inches square with multiple layers using plain and embossed cardstock along with patterned paper.  Mama Kangaroo, with Joey in her pocket, is a cut file I purchased about 5 years ago at a craft convention.  Not even sure why I bought it, but it works for this challenge.  I used more of my button stash on this too along with remnants from an older Authentique collection.  The Spellbinders die cuts are from way back also.
