Graduation Time...

 Welcome back crafty friends!

June already and time for the first of two monthly challenges at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Our theme is White with ONE other color only.
You choose the color to compliment the white and use neutrals too or use the neutral as your secondary color.  Link up your project to the Double D Challenge Blog by Sunday, June 12th and you could be a Creative Winner or the random winner of the prize below.

Some inspiration for you...

And the prize for one lucky entry...

Pops of Color, Ocean Waves Pearl and White

I used red as my secondary color and created this graduation card for our grandson's girlfriend.  She just graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

The white cardstock is embossed with a folder from back in 2012-13 that I purchased at CHA and matted with the secondary color, red.  I printed the school logo, matted it and gave it dimension with foam tape.  The only embellishments are three candy dots used to make the top banner appear as a hinge over the red one.

From my stash...
Bazzill Cardstock
Couture Creations Nuevo Embossing Folder
Echo Park Candy Dots
Spellbinders Large Pinking Circles
Taylored Expressions Banners

Challenges entered:

Stop by the Double D and play along.
You'll find more inspiration from other team members.

Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope to see you here again soon.

This is brilliant, Vicki! So clever of you to print off the college logo and use it on your card. It's a one of a kind! I'm sure your grandson's girlfriend will be so touched by all the thought you put into making this.

Congrats on the accomplishment for your son's girlfriend. Graduation cards can be hard, but using the school colors and the emblem you go a winner.

This is a perfect graduation card. I often try to use something that reflects the school too, and you were lucky enough to actually get that emblem to work. Well done, and I love your design. This is simply FABULOUS, my dear!
