 Good morning blogger friends!

It's time for the last challenge of 2022 at the Double D Challenge Blog.   With the holidays upon us, what could be more fitting and sweet than the theme, "Candy Canes" of red and white?

Here's some inspiration...

We'll be choosing Creative winners along with a random winner of the prize below...

Picket Fence Candy Cane Stencil

I personally love the traditional peppermint candy canes.  They always adorn our Christmas tree and gingerbread houses. We keep them around as long as we can after the holidays.

Here's my inspiration...

The 3-D gingerbread house is adhered to a scalloped circle of white glitter paper to highlight the icing trim.  It's matted with red & white striped metallic and green glitter cardstock. The sentiment is cut twice from both white and green glitter paper.  I tucked in a couple peppermint candies around the border of the scalloped circle and on the inside corner of the card.

From my stash...

Your gingerbread card is pure delight, Vicki! I'm getting a sugar rush just looking at it. ;0) The glitter you added is like the sugar on top and that mint on the lower left corner looks real. Absolutely adorable!
