Love to Love You...

 Welcome crafty friends!

We made it through January and now February is upon us.  It's time once again for a new challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog With Valentine's Day just around the corner, our theme for the first challenge in February is, "Hearts".   Diane's team is hosting and Darlene's team is sharing their inspiration too.

There's a prize being offered to one entry chosen by random draw along with Creative Winner badges.  Check out the mood board below for inspiration when creating your project.

Sizzix Thinlits 3 Die Set

My inspiration was the fun prints in the third photo.

 LOVE TO LOVE YOU

I love making Valentine cards and this is just the first of many to come.   This pretty pink doily has been in my stash for too long and made a great mat for the focal sentiment circle.

I used a border punch to create the strip through the middle under the doily and adhered glitter hearts in the negative areas and also around the doily.

From my stash
Bazzill Cardstock
CTMH Mad About You Stamp Set
EK Success Border Die Set
Simple Stories Heart Eyes PP
Tutti Designs Scalloped Stitched Nesting Circle
Other: Doily, glitter heart stickers

Hop on over to the Double D Challenge Blog and play along with our "Hearts" Challenge.
You could be a winner!

Thanks for the visit today.
Hope to see you here again soon.

Creatively beautiful with the pretty hearts paper and the pink doily, very inspiring to others to show just how creative you can get with papers and embellishments, the doily really sets off the card and reminds a lot of Valentines I used to receive, a beautiful card!!

Loving that gorgeous Designer Paper! That pink doily is the perfect place to lay that big and bold sentiment. And I love the glittery hearts too! So lovely!

Wow! You did a lot with that designer paper. I would not have thought about a border. It works well and so does that doily for the sentiment.
