Valentine Birthday!

 Welcome back crafty friends!

February is a busy birthday month in our family and one of them just happens to be on Valentine's Day!  This was a great opportunity to make a Valentine birthday card in collaboration with the new challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog.

For the next two weeks, the theme is, "Hearts".  The mood board shares some lovely inspiration and there's a prize to be had for one lucky winner.

I made a slimline card for this challenge...

happy birthday to you

I pulled out lots of older stash for this card.  The cardstock, lace border punch, heart dies, and ribbon are all more than 5-6 years old.  The birthday sentiment is part of set that I purchased last year.  Actually, nothing is new including the ink but it all came together for this pretty birthday Valentine.

From my stash...
Elizabeth Craft Banner Die
Martha Stewart Lace Border Punch
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Momenta Heart Dies
Recollections Cardstock

And, there's a new challenge blog you won't want to miss.  Yep, Diane and Darlene have yet another challenge blog to play along with, "Neglected Stuff Challenge Blog". I think all of us can relate to this! I'll certainly be linking up to this one!  Check it out.
