Welcome crafty friends!
The weather has been a bit warmer and the daffodils in my flower beds are getting buds on them. A sure sign of Spring along with the chirping of birds.
Speaking of birds...
The Double D challenge for the next two weeks is all about "Birds". Perfect for this time of year. As always, there is a mood board for inspiration and a prize to one lucky winner chosen by random draw.
My inspiration...
I really put the patterned paper to use on this card. The perched birds look perfectly content inside this die cut bird cage. I embellished with green foliage and tiny flowers with jeweled centers. The die cut sentiment is the same color as the flowers and matted with a white shadow.
From my stash...

How perfect is that patterned paper! How clever of you to incorporate the birds and "cage" them. The sentiment shadow and white cage are the perfect complement to your patterned paper. Thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas.
