Welcome back crafty friends!
It's time for the first challenge in October at the Double D Challenge Blog. Diane's team is taking the lead with inspiration and Darlene's team is sharing some too. The challenge theme is "Windows". There's a mood board to nudge you along with your creation. Link it up at the Double D and you could win a Creative Badge for your social media site.
The card base is a pale peach color with the DP matted using a dark brown that looks black in this photo. The background paper reminds me of an old, vintage style building found in an ancient or historic village. I combined two different window dies for the focal image and backed it with an outdoor scene from the same paper collection. I added some laser cuts to embellish.
From my stash...
Arden Creative Wicked Woods Laser Cuts
Bazzill Bitter Chocolate, Pale Rose CS
Cottage Cutz Classic Arched Window
Cottage Cutz Window With Shutters

Wishing you the best day.

Great background! Love that arched window, isn't it so pretty! That's a pretty Fall scene beyond too, even with that critter spying on me lol Lovely all over!
Sometimes it's good to go CAS. That background made me think of an old building in Europe somewhere. Sure they have a fall where the leaves turn beautiful colors like your card. I think you did a very creative job here.
It's a fabulous scene with all the combination of the neat supplies from your stash, pretty window for sure!!
Beautiful! Yes, yes . . . I saw walls like this when we took our European trip last year ... I think it made a fabulous background for your beautiful window scene! Well done!!
Wow, that Mintay paper drops my jaw! A gorgeous card that takes simplicity to a level I can relate to. Love the little hedgehog in the garden!
Oh, I love how you have created that fall scene outside the window with the patterned paper. That's just genius, as is the background. It DOES look like an old building in some quaint European village. Simply fabulous!!!!!
Fantastic card and great design. Brilliant colours too. ♥
