Double D, "Neutrals with Texture" Challenge!

Welcome to August and a new challenge on the Double D Challenge Blog
Team Diane, is up today with a fabulous theme of "Neutrals with Texture"  This is all about the tan, "neutral" family...krafts, tan, creams, beige.  A small touch of black or white is okay.  As always, we offer a fabulous mood board consisting of four different photos to inspire you.

We'll be choosing a CREATIVE WINNER and Top 3 who will be awarded our Double D Badge to display in your blogs.  In addition, when a prize is available, like today, we'll use random draw to select a winner.  International entries are welcome as well so everyone will have a chance to win.

The prize for this challenge is a set of We R Memory Keepers embossing folders.

And here's our "Neutral with Texture"  mood board inspiration....

I was especially inspired by the burlap texture and the elegant design around the rim of the plates.  Here's my take on the "Neutrals with Texture" Challenge....

I used ivory cardstock for the base, die cut overlay and sentiment.  The background paper is Christmas paper from my scrap stash.  The fibers and twine are adhered under the burlap flower.  A couple of stick pins complete the embellishments.
