Celebrate the New Year!

Today I'm sharing my first project as a member of the Colorful Options Challenge Blog Design Team.   Thank you Colorful Options for having me as a team member.

Each month, there are two options to choose from.  First being a color option and second a rainbow option.  If choosing the color theme for the month, you can create in all shades of that color as long as it remains predominate.  Should you choose the rainbow option, you can choose any color palette for your design.  View the guidelines HERE. 

 

January's challenge color is "Basic Black".

I chose the "Basic Black" option for my challenge project and used gold accents on it.

Celebrate

This was an easy card to put together.  The embossed gold paper made the perfect base design for the die cut focal element.  I cut twice, one in gold, one in black and swapped out the diamonds with black and left the banner gold.  The sentiment is also cut from the gold metallic cardstock.
